Railroad Day on Capitol Hill is when key players in the industry — Class I railroads, short line railroads, suppliers, and supporting associations — meet with House and Senate leaders and Hill offices representing states and districts across the country to ensure that our voices are heard and our priorities are understood.
A copy of the Railroad Day 2024 handout is available here, and a listing of Congressional offices who have signed a letter of support and/or were 45G co-sponsors in the 116th Congress is available here, should you wish to print copies for yourself prior to the meeting. These documents will be made available Wednesday morning at the Monocle Restaurant (see schedule below).
A document to help you draft your own social media posts, along with images you can use in them, is available here.
Want the staff to tweet for you? Please forward any photos of the meeting in progress, or with a Congressperson to Mariel Takamura. Please include any details about meeting participants.
